We eventually booked at Aventura Badplaas - 017 844 8079. This is where the YEF is being held.

Give them a call to see if they have any accommodation. They usually only accept bookings for two nights over a weekend. Cost works out at about the same for two people for one night at a guest house as they charge per hotel room/chalet per day and not per person.

We only going through on the Saturday because of club night on the Friday.

I am planning to do the Staffie Rally in Pelgrimrus that weekend. The Sunday morning I will join the club at Mashadodorp/Milly's and do the rest of the day with - eating and riding etc.

Sorry we will not be able to make it. It is our son's 21st birthday and our children from the Cape will be joining us for the week-end. Wish you all a very pleasant week-end!

This means that there are going to be lots of bikes in the area, so LeRoy, hopefully we made a booking at Milly's.

I contacted Malaga and they still have accommodation available. R450 for a single room and R650 for a double, meals excluded. So far Henk & myself have booked into Malaga for Saturday night. We will meet at Atterbury Shell 9:00 for 9:30. I will post the route soon. Once checked in at Malaga, I plan to take a nice ride, maybe to Kaapse Hoop for afternoon tee

I can't say afternoon drink, this is an open forum Just now we become subjects of the new demerit system and of course we promote safe riding. We can phone ahead and arrange for a shootout, you never know, people will do anything for money

If you bored, you can pop round to Badplaas Aventura for a drink.

Myself, Dorothy, Ghris and Golda will be there from 12 o clock to do a site visit for the YEF.

A definate possibility. Lets see how the day goes. I want to get a bit of riding in during the afternoon. Quite a few nice roads in the area. Will keep in touch about dinner

PS. Dave what time are you guys leaving on Saturday morning and have you got a route in mind already

I just plotted the route from our place (Malaga) to Badplaas, and it is 78 kays, so maybe it is a better idea to join you earlier and rather have dinner back at Malaga. Not too keen to ride 80 kays in the dark after having a nice dinner and some wine

What is your mail address - if you like we can ride together towards Badplaas and you can turn off to Malaga before we get to Badplaas or go with to Badplaas and ride the Saturday route to Machadodorp.

Yes Dave, I thought about it again and I think the best is to ride with you guys to Badplaas, spend some time in the area, maybe a ride to Barberton and then go to Malaga in the late afternoon. My e-mail is sab@mweb.co.za
