Breedsnek after Breakfast
So on my way to the “Every Friday morning breakfast” this morning, I saw that it was such a beautiful day, a perfect day for bike riding.
So I thought of where I could go for a quick ride after the breakfast. I decided to give Breedsnek over the Magaliesberge a go.
I have done this pass a couple of times before, so I knew the roads and the area pretty well. I did not want to do a very long or technical ride as my wrist is still a bit sore after my Quarry incident of about two weeks ago.
So I set off after breakfast towards Zwartkops Raceway to Erasmia, from there I took the Schurweberg dirt-road, crossing the Hennops river towards Harties.
The Schurweberg dirt-road (S25.80842 E28.01334)
I then took the dirt-road through the Skeerpoort. (S25.82621 E27.77123)
Then some more dirt-roads all the way to Breedsnek (S25.88209 E27.44840)
And then up and down Breedsnek Pass (S25.86789 E27.44537)
See the road going up in the backround (down in the 3rd pic)

Then some more dirt-roads back to Pretoria

S25.92743 E27.49249
I did 196km from the Jean Ave Wimpy and was home by 11am. A great morning ride, not difficult or technical at all, just nice. This is a great ride for newbies !!!!

Wow!
The roads look very good. Do you have a GPS route of your journey. Love to follow it on a map.
