Namibia - condition of dirt roads
We toured Namibia from 23 May to 6 June on 5 1200 GS's and did some distance on dirt roads. Mainly from Ai-ais to Walvis Bay and on to Khorixas. The roads have deteriorated significantly during the past season due unusual high rainfall. Many sand sections where the road surface has been washed away. I would suggest only competent dirt road GS riders consider these routes.
