Re: Fuel Shortage, wet roads and Lesotho in the middle
I've heard Admin (home engineer) is enjoying Cape Town's wonderful weather.
PRIORITIES.
And I am still engulfed with memories of the Sani trip!
By the way - Thanks for sharing - nice scenery!
Glad you enjoyed the trip
Once the dust is settled and the road gets better, the phantom viewers will comment.

Re: Fuel Shortage, wet roads and Lesotho in the middle
ah, there is life out there......was begining to think it had something to do with the content........or that maybe we are not allowed to exceed certain enjoyment levels and now there is a silent objection
serious......
thanks Drix for you very good explanation, I'm actually aware of all of the above......was just trying with a "nagative angle" to get the roofkykers to open their mouths or to hit the keyboard if you like
and if the said read this (which I'm sure they will)............it's a real effort to do a long trip report with pics and if you find enjoyment reading it, please say so......GIVE and TAKE....even if you don't agree, your opinion will be welcomed

Re: Fuel Shortage, wet roads and Lesotho in the middle
Ofcourse it is worth posting the pics !
How else would we ever have believed the story of the K going through water so effortlessly ! Now there's proof !
So when the electrics start giving in or it starts to rust, we know why !
I love it ! Everyday we look to see new pics posted by Wahl, Jamie, Dave etc,etc - For those of us who can't, it's like going on the trip yourself or at least seeing places you've been to before OR want to go to in the future. Please don't be discouraged. Those that don't reply are still viewing !

Re: Fuel Shortage, wet roads and Lesotho in the middle
Nice one Jamie! Too bad you won't earn commission on the sale
I must confess... a woman on a bike makes the heart beat faster, but a woman on a bike on the track... man! That's just illegal!
But it seems that this Yank wants his wife to get one so he can spend more time on the track... go figure!

Re: Fuel Shortage, wet roads and Lesotho in the middle
Know how you feel, Jamie. Took me a long time to do my December trip report with pics, only 4 responses to it. But I still enjoyed the trip!
I try to get to the Forum about every 3 days, and enjoy looking and reading about other people's trips.(sometimes with great envy, I might add).
So, keep the pics and reports rolling!
Put me down for the Training day on the 7 June, please

What happened to the rest of page 4. Wanted to show my wife tonight how her first club outing was described as watching the paint dry.

....then you probably also missed the part where someone posted that they enjoy reading the reports and we should not stop.
Easy solution would be that those that find the road trips boring should not bother to read the thread nor bother posting in the thread - easy!

My oupa het altyd vir my ouma gesê "As jy die duiwel uitlos in die dag, dan los hy jou uit in die nag". Ook het hy gesê "Only the innocent sleeps at night"
Ek begin wonder oor hierdie nagwolwe in ons geledere....................
