Re: A fantastic Year End Function !
Even myself being battered and bruised, and my steed somewhat had better days, I have to thank Dorothy and Dave for such a superb weekend.
Pieter thanx for a fabulous GS route, and keeping your mouth shut about the long decent of gravel to Lone Creek that was still to come. I probably would have given up at that point. Thanx to our sweep that coached me along to head down the gravel decent. I survived. Also thanx to those two who helped me when I crashed. My mind was still in a state of shock (well shaken, not stirred) from flying, bouncing, rolling and passing out for a while, so I did not get your names, but just remembering one was wearing a top of red, white and blue.
I will also be posting the pics I took. Pity I did not take of last night's event. Maybe I was still very tired from trying to fly instead of riding on the GS route.
I be doing the GS route this coming Sunday.

Re: A fantastic Year End Function !
Thank you to the organizers for this wonderful event, especially to Dave and Dorothy. We had a wonderful relaxing week-end! The ride there was an extreme challenge in the rain and wind made worse by my fogging glasses.
Here are some pictures of our ride to the border and then on our way back.

Pity about "Happy's" fall - it seems it was the only hickup in an otherwise perfect weekend.
