Monitor tyre pressure on-the-go?
A product that could save you a lot of trouble...?

I reckon the inside the rim would work best on tubeless?
It'd be a real PITA for the guy who changes tyres though...!

Think this an excellent idee - then you know when to have the tyres checked - not when you get the sliding feeling in a turn.

Re: Monitor tyre pressure on-the-go?
Is it possible to fit the OE afterwards or does it have to be ordered with bike? What would be the cost of something like that? Definately something I want.

Re: Monitor tyre pressure on-the-go?
doubt if it can be retro fitted......but it's worth an enquiry.
The "Exclusive" option pack offered by BMW is R 8 900 but that includes ABS, ASC and TPC.....on the GT the ABS is standard in any way. You will have to ask the dealer for a seperate quote on TPC

The product costs $250 in Cincinnati, OH.
Add postage, VAT etc, etc. etc and you're probably looking at R3000-3500.
(About the price of a couple of tyres...!?)
It'll probably save you one set of tyres in four if you are lax with checking tyre pressures...

Re: Monitor tyre pressure on-the-go?
I have the TPC on my bike and I recon all bike should come out with it as standard equipment with the technology level of bikes these days. It does wonders for the two ear tipps (the stuff in-between them). When I was in ET I put it on the TPC display and I could see that my tyres increased in preasure due to the heat from the riding and I know for sure that they are tacky and I can take the twisties on with confidence. Fitting the new tyres is no big deal, I checked when my dual sport tyres was fitted at Just Bike Tyre. If you know where it is located and what the size or the pick-up monitors is its a peace of pie and you can do it yourself
