Hi, I am Lefty from Western Australia.
I rode a 1975 R60/6 for 30 years, until I purchased a 1994 K1100LT in 2005.
I would like to trade up to a K1200LT sometime, but I think I will have to wait for some inheritance, or Lotto win.

I don't speak Afrikaans, but I have some friends from Holland, and the language has some similarities
I don't speak Dutch either, just a few words, enough to survive. like "Eine biere, Bitte"

I thought about learning Afrikaans, but I might get Boer-ed with it!

hmmm... ""Eine biere, Bitte" is German :-) "'n bier asseblief" in Afrikaans and I don't quite know what the Dutch would be... Google says: "Mag ik een biertje?"

Hi all, I am from Perth Western Australia moved here from South Africa some time ago. I now ride a R1150RT after not having riden for a number of years, started off on a old R50 in 76 and since then have had a Truimph Bonneville T120R, a R65 as well as a Kawasaki Z1000 and a Ducati Pantah.
