First Aid Training - Interested...?

I am testing the membership for people who would be interested in attending certified First Aid training if this were arranged by the Club.
Costs per person would be R400 for an 8-hour accredited training course offered by a Red Cross trainer, and the Club would subsidise R50 towards each graduate.
In addition, unaccredited training of a further 6-8 hours will be given to graduates of the above course regarding roadside assistance specifically for motorcyclists.

Ok - so when will this course be scheduled for - date and time. The following people have expressed interest.

Question - how many people is necessary before the planning of the course can start in earnest.

The optimum would be between 10 - 20 persons.
I'm giving it a one or two days more and then I'm going to ask our sister club if they have any interested persons.

My Red Cross contact is off having an operation for two weeks, so it'll only happen when he's 'fully operational' again...

RichardH is the organiser of the First Aid Training Course - I'm sure he'll respond on this.

Tend to agree - you are very active on then forum - why not join.

I am currently checking available dates for the Trainer. Mid-October seems the earliest suitable time, due to the GS Challenge in September.
In order not to occupy two weekends, I'm proposing the certified training on a Saturday from 10:00-18:00, ending in a braai, with the follow-up bike-related training the day after on Sunday from 12:00-16:00. Alternatively, the follow-up training would be on the Monday or Tuesday night following to allow a Day of Rest 'middagslapie'
