Rallye Raid 2010 open to other makes
Just received this mail from Red Cherry:
"Hi Rallye Raiders
Rallye Raid is back and 2010 will see a "Rainbow" event. In other words it is not limited to KTM's but we will be opening the event to all and will be bigger and better than the last 3 Rallye Raids put together...Guaranteed!!
The same rules will apply with no pillion passengers, definitely no Bikes on Trailers and bikes must exceed 650cc
All the tents will be the same but now we will have Blues and Reds and Greens and undoubtedly, plenty of Oranges all mixed with a bit of "friendly rivalry.
We have found some awesome new routes in Wartrail that will blow you away.
If you mix the great riding with the festival vibe, great entertainment and the fact that you only need to take one days leave (Rallye Raid starts on Saturday 24th and finishes on Tues 27th, public holiday) ... Rallye Raid 2010 will be a winner!
The website and online registration will go live on the 18 Jan 2010 and entries will be limited to 300 riders in total. Consider the fact that it is open to everyone, you need to get in early. We expect at least 50% of those to be taken up by BMW, Yamaha and Honda and we have already taken some provisional bookings.
The cost will be the same as this years Kranskop event at R2600 excl for Tent owners and R2800 excl for those who need to hire a tent.
The website www.rallyeraid.co.za is still under construction and will be up and running on the 18 Jan
If you have any questions or queries please do not hesitate to contact Mike Glover on mike@redcherry.co.za and pencil those dates in now.
See you in Wartrail in April!!
Mike"
