Rhino Park...............SAND!!!!! Sunday 12/07/2009

I will be going to Rhino Park on Sunday 12/07/2009 to improve my sand riding skills in preparation for the Kosi Bay Trip in August.

If you are planning on going on the Kosi Trip, I would strongly suggest you tag along for some fun on the beach. The beach sand is nice and soft, so you wont fall to hard

This ride will not be an Official Club ride, rather just some fun and some sand practice. Bring water with because riding in that sand is hard work and you will get tired and thirsty.

I will be at Rhino at 10am on Sunday morning, normally it is R50 to get you in. After the playtime at Rhino, I will go to Sambok Bar to have a Sambok Burger and then have a few rounds.......................of the skills track that is

We would love to join, but Martin and I will be going to Durban this weekend. Unfortunately not with the bikes. Will join you next time as we seriously need training on sand for Kosi Bay. Enjoy!

If you wanna go to Kosi Bay on the GS, you must NOT arrive at Rhino Park on the TTR

I decided I am not good enough for Kosi Bay even on my TTR so won't be joining this year's crowd. Though I do need to gain experience on sand, even on my TTR so thinking on coming to Rhino anyway.

I taking small steps, don't want to be scared for life to go real off-road riding.

No problems then. Will see you at Rhino on Sunday. I think you made a wise decision, get the skills up first. You should also join at the little skills track at Sambok Bar, you will learn a helluva lot !!!!

I will be at Sambok Bar Saturday afternoon at about 12ish to do the skills track a few times. Everyone welcome

I don't know about the Sambok skills challenge... that place is evil in many, many ways

But I may just show up for some fun in the sand. A bit to practice with the GS in the sand, but also to settle an outstanding matter between me and the beach involving a WR250 the other day

Hi guys, Durban is off this weekend so Martin and I will join you at Rhinopark on Sunday!

We'll be there too.. not sure about the BEACH though (I'll take my camera!), but will be great to be back on the BMW's!
