GS Ride to Rhino Park on Sunday 06 September 2009

We normally have the September Club GS ride as "preparation ride" for the GS-Challenge, but with things being different this year with the ECO1000, we have decided to still do a bit of GSC preparation riding.

We will be doing ride of about 130km with 50% being level 1 dirt roads. There will also be shorter sections of level 2/3/4. This ride will include some of the route done on the Cullinan Club ride, but it will end at Rhino Park. At Rhino Park the guys that feels up to it, can go and play in the sand, or can they can go on the 20km outride. We can then go for a bite to eat at the Sambok Bar.

Please note that this ride is not exclusively for people going to the ECO1000, but it is for ALL riders, and also that Rhino Park charges an entry fee of R50.

Would have loved to have gone with but have been looking forward to Johan's road trip since he planned it earlier this year....

The outride track has been drier of late with no additional rain, so the mud section will be easier. Have fun, I be at Country Trax this weekend.

We will be meeting at Atterbury Shell 07:00 for 07:30.

I'll be joining on Sunday, but will have to be home by 13h00-ish, so might have to miss the Rhino Park experience.
