My fondest memory was that of the spectacular
"Pannekoek" stall. A very specialized procedure.
Only 1 person could assemble them - no matter how many hundred people were in the queue !!

What - fellow clas mate???

The pancake stall at the Biker Fest was also REALLY great - despite the wait.

Really great to be able to ride bikes on the track !

Shawn and I and a friend ,Richard, took the day off work to ride bikes.
Met Mike Wright and his son & son in law as well there

Started off at the BM stand of course to test ride the 1000RR

My favourite of the day - Honda VFR1200 - I want 1 !
I was even colour-coded. Dorothy would be proud !

Shawn trying old faithful - 1200GS new spec to see the difference

Shawn and I both tried this - hated it

Saw guys from WOEMA there.

Shawn on KTM, Richard on 800GS - think he's getting 1

I loved the KTM Adventure - but simply not as good as the BM.

Saw the unveiling ( spelling ?) of the new Yamaha Tenere

Good looking bike and very well priced

I'm down with a bout of 'flu, so I'll have to make do with looking at Deon's very good photos...

Got to ride the S1000RR. Very nice piece of equipment. Set on rain mode and with a marshall in front never really had a chance to open it up, but a serious sports bike. Unbelievable handling and brakes. Have to admit that I battle with the riding position on those types of bikes. Enjoy sitting up.
