Re: Muis stotertjies... Country Trax Part I
Here are the pictures I took.
The Friday morning was freezing cold. Mario tries in vain to blow the cold away.
Marius having his first cup of coffee.
The grass was white with frost. Some people had water shortages due to pipes freezing.
Jacques, Koekels and Deon Droogie
Krummelpap, butter, sugar and milk comes standard as part of breakfast, and overall the food was great!
Mario (F800GS), Alan (R1200GS), Francois (KTM 990 Adv), Jacques (KTM 640), John (KTM 950 SE), David (F650GS), Dave (R1200GSA)
JP (R1200GS), Andre (F650GS Dakar), Pieter (1150GSA), Zonica (CRF230)
Ettienne & Lucille (R1200GSA), Jan, JP and Jaco (F650GS)
The group learning about weight on the outside. Man, I just couldn't walk through that @$#%@ tire!!!!
The bikes going down, only to be picked up again (either the German way... or the American way...)
One of the few times we saw Deon's bike on its side. The other time was when he tried to impress the girls with his elephant turns.
As the weekend went past, the cones seemed to go further and further apart!
To put the record REALLY straight... it was first the KTM being towed... for demonstration purposes only
Mario doing the uphill recovery... again. It's just instinct to want to pull the clutch!!! Francois was quick to lend a helping hand.
The peanut gallery

Re: Muis stotertjies... Country Trax Part I
I went too far to the right on my second try and hence did the only left-handed recovery in the group. You can't use the back brake then and it gets interesting indeed!!
