What do you think of the new handle bar switch layout on the new K series bikes?
Re: What do you thnk of the new toggle switchgear on the new K series bikes?
Every now and again one "needs" new toys but maybe sanity will prevail once my bike is paid off. Not working for the HP house will be good - even if it is for a little while.
My bike is still going strong.
Nearly suffered a stroke when I got the bill for the 40 000km service. The rear tyre came to R1200 which is about standard BUT together with the rest of the major service, which did not require changing of brake pads, the total bill came to R4700. (Original BMW front brake set = R1500). When you compare this to a major service on my Pajero which was about R2800 for the 40 000km service something is not quite right.

Boet - wag vir die 80 000km diens. Lening by die bank.

I had the same heart palpitations when the GS had its 40000 km service. Two new tyres plus service( no brake pads either) came to a staggering R5650!!
Maybe I will also look at a new bike before reaching 80000 kms. Don't like the sound of what LeRoy is saying about Bank loans.roll:
Pity Pajero won't service the bikes for R2800?
