Thank you Bruno for that interesting story. Just because it is mentioned several times in the articel: The small company HPN (www.hpn.de) is still producing very serious off road bikes on the basis of the R 80 GS and R 100 GS. A friend of mine in Germany is working on the HPN Sport (as they are also sold as do it yourseld kits). So if anyone is looking for a very exclusive AND off roadable bike - thats a good option.
