New Road Markings
I presume by now most of you have seen Council re-doing the roadmarkings in town - especially the lane demarcation lines. Normally these painted lines are manageable but slippery when wet.
These new lane lines are worse than the old painted lines. These lines are roughly 2mm thick/high as it is a tape that is pasted to the tar.
Wiggling amongst traffic has just become more dangerous/tricky as these tape lines gives you a nasty wiggle when crossing over or lengthwise over it. Have not has the pleasure to have to brake when crossing - but presume it will be interesting.

Re: New Road Markings
Knobblies... you must see what they've done in the middle of Jo'burg! They put strips about 10cm high to stop the taxi's from changing lanes (I guess) - had a few interesting lane changes, thank goodness for 21" front wheel!!

Amper soos om 'n sypaadjie te klim sonder om dit te verwag. 10cm in elke geval te laag vir die taxis. As if Biking isnt already hazadous enough.
