Training Day 7 June - final arrangements
The June Club Ride will be in the form of TRAINING at Zwartkops Raceway.
To ensure effective learning, limited numbers are allowed on the track,
which means the first 30 to pay can enjoy the day’s training and track riding!
The program of the morning:
07:30 - leave from Atterbury Shell (time to be finalised)
08:30-09:00 Arrival and Registration
09:00-11:30 Practical elements on track
11:30-13:00 Track riding
Bring your R250 tonight (Club night) to Dani and make sure you don't miss out on this opportunity to improve your riding skills.

Tough times - never known so many people being out of a job or close to bankruptcy than now! We just hide behind the BM badge...

Re: Training Day 7 June - final arrangements
I would have expressed my interest if I had been at the club meeting But on Friday afternoon at 15:00 my wife phoned to let me know that the city council disconnected our electricity!!!
Funny because I paid it, but it seems not as the council expected, so we ended up taking proof of payment to 373 Pretorius Street at 18:00 that evening...
Who will be doing the training? And is a GS welcome?

Re: Training Day 7 June - final arrangements
There has been a wrong date earlier which was corrected later.
Can I just ask for confirmation...........are we positive the track is booked for 7 June and not 12 July.
tell you why. I came accross this elsewhere on the web posted by Denver Biggs from Auto Alpina but I have reason to believe it has to do with 12 July
"Guys - yea that means ladies too - Zwartkops in their inimitable way have found a way to cock up the other bookings that I made - the (and it seems the rest of the world at large) consider BMW as whole generic holistic family. SOOOOO the gal at the office on receiving the call from the BMW RIDER CLUB PTA - sees the booking in July and promptly confirms with them. They realised they have scored a luck (since booking at Zwarkops are harder to get than honest politicians) and they paid over the deposit stat! So Tazzman is left holding his you-know-what and all dressed up and nowhere to go. I admittedly didn't endear myself to the chicken in the office, but I have grovelled and they are seeing what they can do………….."
also can not say for sure if we are also known as "BMW RIDER CLUB PTA"

Re: Training Day 7 June - final arrangements
Thank you. It was never meant to query the organisational ability of our very able Committee.
I saw the posting in question elsewhere and more than anything the reference to the “BMW RIDER CLUB PTA” caught my eye. It was just a pro-active question to prompt the possibility of an overbooking and more so for the knowledge of the Committee than my own.
a ps. on the ps. don't we miss a Pretoria in there

I'll be there to represent the "raised suspension" class of bike and to give Jamie a run for his money. Who needs a quick shifter anyways...
Hope to see you there!
