Shaking Lights on RT
Hi Friends
I don't drive my bike that much in the dark, but did notice that when I do, that it seems if my lights shakes up and down. Is it normal or must it be fixed?
Regards
Rudi

Re: Shaking Lights on RT
quite normal.......not for the lights to be loose but for them to appear shaky in your vision
Maybe take the bike out on a highway at night time to compare........it should be fairly steady as a result of the smooth road surface. Also check the tyre pressure of the front, it might be on the high side

Re: Shaking Lights on RT
Rudi
Have you recently replaced globes on the RT? It can just be that the globe does not seat firmly in the socket. It is quite a tight fit and to get your big hands in there can be difficult untill you get the feel.
I doubt if the whole light unit be loose. Was the bike perhaps in an accident?
My 2005 model tend to blow globes at least one in three months. The 2007 model have not yet blown one yet in 60k km
But then, what MadnohB says above is also very true.
