It is important that you let me know ASAP if you will be joining the trip as I need to confirm numbers to secure accommodation.
This is the provisional plan for the Transkei trip 25th April - 3rd May i.e. 3 work days to get a 9 day trip.
Day 1: Shell Atterbury to Sani Backpackers Himeville.
Day 2: Himeville to Coffee Bay.
Day 3: Is a day off for exploring nearby places like Hole in the Wall etc.
Day 4: Coffee Bay to The Haven Hotel.
Day 5: The Haven to Kei Mouth
Day 6: Is a day off for exploring the local area and brushing up on thick sand riding.
Day 7: Kei Mouth to Rhodes.
Day 8: Rhodes to Ficksburg.
Day 9: Ficksburg to home.

Here comes the first change of plan, Ficksburg is fully booked so we will have a shorter day and stay at the Lord Fraser in Wepener those who have not seen this place will be impressed Im sure.

[b][i] due to the fact that my "toothpick" (nadja) is leaving for switzerland 2-morrow till may 05 my interest in joining the trip has gone to 100%!!

this is going to be riding pleasure, first the sani trip, wash and clean the beemer and then off to the transkei for the first time!

Shangali dont worry to much about a sharing partner just mention you are single secure a bed and we can fix everyone up when we get there, most of the places are communual type accomadation

Hi All
In place of coffee bay we are now staying at white clay and they are insisting on a group deposit, which we will pay, so please don't try and make a booking with them. Everywhere else seems to be falling into place, but if anyone has any problems or further information, please share it with the group.
