Members Johan & Ina Maartens, lost their youngest child, Emile (21) on Saturday.

He died Saturday morning under very strange circumstances in a hotel in Saldanha.

Johan and Ina are currently in Stellenbosch, while his death is under investigation.

Ag nee - this is not how it is supposed to work - a child is not supposed to precede his/her parents in this. Johan & Ina - our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of sorrow and loss.

Time passes and it will heal all wounds. You will never forget him, as he will always be part of your life. It has been said that children are on loan from God, regard the time you spent with him as a gift as he has enriched your life.

Baie dankie aan alma - ons waardeer dit onsettend baie!

Die nuutste nou is dat hy eers vermoor is en toe het die moordenaars die kamer waarin hy gebly het aan die brand gesteek sodat daar nie bewyse sou wees nie.'

Die diens is nou more 12nm in die Kapel op TUKS en daarna word almal genooi na 'n vingerete by die Midrand Protea hotel. Protea Hotel voorsien die ete, kamers in die hotel waarin ons familie kan bly en ook vir ons verblyf toe ons in die Kaap was. Ons is hulle innig dankbaar.

Weereens baie dankie aan almal, ek en Ina waardeer julle gebede onstettend baie. Die pyn is nog daar maar ons troos ons daaraan dat hy nie 'n wonderlike seun WAS nie - hy is NOG STEEDS een, hy bly net op 'n nader plek waar ons hom een van die dae weer sal sien.

Sias - thanks for posting - the fact that they are habitual criminals and just got out of jail makes my blood boil.

That sort needs to be locked away for life - more motiviation for the death penalty - but let me not get controversial here.
