Would add the following bikes in no specific order.
Honda VFR1000V5 - Looked at the 800 a few years ago before buying the R1100S that was stolen.
R1200S - have always had a soft spot for the Boxer eversince mine was stolen in 2004.
K1200GT - previous model.
K1200S.
R1200RT.
Definitly no Hardley Driveables.

Re: The bucket motorcycle wish list
Sharkie - glad to see you have a Bee Em in every category.
If I had to be absolutely honest, I own my dream bike.
Well maybe having an HP2 as well would do no damage...

For the most exotic tastes in BMW GS:

It's much too big to show here...
Each one of the bikes on my bucket bike list has fond memories or dreams to come...!?

Re: The bucket motorcycle wish list
I dream of a bike that Q would build for 007, reckon a nice set of rocket launchers will suit me in traffic, add a afterburner when I go through the Northern Cape, pop-out training wheels on the side when I overcook it in ET, ...

think that will also work for the jumping pavements that have down there
my list:
BMW S1000RR - to embarrass the Japs
Honda CBR1000RR - to experience a thrill not yet offered by BMW
BMW K1300S - to cover a long distances really quick
BMW R1200GSA - to be able to talk sh&*t with the forum clan
MV Augusta F4 312 - to show off.......and maybe.....just once...... explore if the 312 means what they claim......312km/h
of course this is very much tongue in the cheek.........methinks I'll take any bike (maybe with the exception of a Harley) as long as I'm able to ride a bike

Re: The bucket motorcycle wish list
I reckon the lady I have suits me just fine - when Richard took me into the showroom in June 2006 to look at choices of BMW, I was chasing a gold wing at the time, after 5 minutes he realised I was no longer walking with him. The first bike that I saw when I walked into the showroom was an anthracite 1200RT with 600ks on the clock. It was at the front door and I must say that I never got any further. Attempts by Richard to show me other models proved fruitless and 4 days later out I rode on an almost brand new 1200RT. I must say that, although my riding experience was limited (last rode a Honda 550 some 30 years ago) it did not take me long to adapt.
I have since travelled 18,000 ks and have never looked back - well only to see where the harley disappeared to. Great bike, comfortable and certainly not to big for a novice. Unless you drop it that is.
If I could I would like to increase my collection with the inclusion of a R100GS, but thats another story.
