BMW V12 Powered Motorcycle
If 8 cylinders are good then 12 cylinders are better, right? We showed you the BMW V8 motorcycle the other day and now we’ll show you what happens when someone takes a 5.5 liter BMW V12 and builds a drag bike around it. HMS Sportbikes, over in Germany, has been working on this project, taking the engine from a BMW 750i and creating something a little more sporting. They say it will have twin turbos and NOS but it looks to be a bit short of complete at this point.

BMW TRIKE
I have always had a DREAM about building a Trike (3-wheeler) with a BMW engine, gearbox and diff.... Just imagine that as a support vehicle to tow the trailer...!?

Re: BMW V12 Powered Motorcycle
How about a 7-cylinder RADIAL engine motorcycle...?
BMW used to make aero engines in WW2 - it would be possible to build something like this from one of those...

Re: BMW V12 Powered Motorcycle
Too over the top...?
So for a more acceptable ride how about this new concept bike from Derbi, the Derbi DH 2.0. A mountain bike sized motorcycle with fuel in frame like a Buell, an automatic transmission, a 100cc air cooled 4 stroke engine, underseat exhaust, inverted fork, air monoshock out back and a dry weight of 40kg !
That’s a lot closer to mountain bike weight than motorcycle...!

A stylish 'help-my-trap'....?
At the right price I'd ride one to work...

Re: BMW V12 Powered Motorcycle
If only I lived closer to work, I would do it to. But I think 46km each way on the Ben Schoeman is a bit rough for this little "help-my-trap"
