Summit Lodge Graskop Empty Summit Lodge Graskop

Got this from Tommie:

The biker friendly people of SUMMIT LODGE in Graskop is still running the Winter Specials until end August 2008 so you will save at least R155.00 per night on accommodation per night ! Now that's not bad at all.
That piece of road between Sabie and Graskop is still such a great road to ride with loads of twisties and chicanes. TWENTY kays of good solid tyre warming in the mornings or a great way to end the day with TWENTY kays of good riding and stunning views and crisp clean air !

Summit Lodge Graskop Empty Re: Summit Lodge Graskop

Post by Richard H 31st July 2008, 00:06

I slept there once, many years ago. I was on the top bunk with Anton Fobian below, as I recall. The burglar alarm of a Isuzu bakkie right next to the window went off and in my sleep I recognised it as the vehicle of my neighbour at home. "Burglars next door!" I shouted and swung off the bed. Instead of finding my small Kelim bedside rug I found .... nothing - until I crashed to the floor one-and-a-half metres below...!

Nice atmosphere...Great pub!
Good Grub, too!
cheers
