Trudie is organising a ride for ladies . .
It is called The Trail of Lady-Names-Towns. Come join us on this route, in honour of Woman’s Day, 9 August.

Departure will be early morning, 7:00 for 7:30 on 9 August, with breakfast at Sannieshof.
Overnight in Christiana. First day distance of ±480km.
The route back to Gauteng (± 470km) will take us via Shannon for hopefully scones & high tea.

Men and non-members are also welcome Very Happy

Please put your name down for accommodation arrangements?

You are obiously not reading the correspondence correctly - led by ladies, sweep by ladies, through lady name towns - but men welcome to join.

Can I tell you all about places to stay and what is included on Friday night?

And yes we need men to go with. The ladies ride name is to encourage more woman to ride their own bikes. I see it as a normal club ride with everybody welcome to join.

I really really want to go, but have to see how Sunday's shorter ride goes.
Sad latest x-rays show no healing to my hand whatsoever, so operation scheduled for later in August.
I told the doc: "Well it's still broken, so it can't get worse, so I can ride my bike till then?"
He says (a 'motorcyclist & enthusiast' himself), "Go for it!"
