When I saw the Klapperkop picture, it reminded me that I still want to go up Fort Schanskop. I've tried once or twice but never managed to find the road

Road is near the Voortrekker Monument.

Good ride - got to breakfast at Irene at 10:45 - got home at 17:45

Breakfast was buffet, lunch was slapchips with a fine dash of Alto, dinner another slapchips and Alto on the side.

This looks like a lekker ride.

The city centre is not such a bad place on a Sunday morning. Just don't do this ride on a Monday morning!!!!

I hope they restore all those old buildings to their former glory!!

Then the following picture needs some explanation - going back a while there was descrapancy regarding a bill and a bottle of wine. JM just wanted to show that he has paid for the wine - don't see any bottle though so I guess the jury is still out on this one......

Seems like you had a very good turnout and an excellent day - had prior commitments at the church and had to be there. See the LT's were at least represented.
