I made another stupid device and fitted it to the GSA. For me it works well. It protects the engine against mud, rocks and wet tare. Most of the stuff only get as far as the plate and get stuck there. I tested it on the Namibian tour last December. It is two aircraft aluminum plates riveted together bend and fastened to the existing belly plate.
