BMW ADVERT Empty BMW ADVERT

Post by HPGS 24th October 2008, 18:14

Was taking my 1200GS out for a little spin today to drop of something a a neighbours house( we live on farm thus the the bike). Nice little piece of off-roading and then I hit the main dirt road back to my place. After speeding up something caught my eye there where my key holder usually flaps around in the wind close to the handel bars - just it was the wrong colour. A warning light went off! A took another look and there was this huge MOUSE!Trying to do that BMW advert where it tries to balance on the steering wheel of the car. Well it lost it balance and instead got some voyager miles as I grabbed it with my hand and lofted it ungracefully in an arc into the bushes next to the road. The end result is one mouse with frequent flyer miles and me with a heart racing and nearly a hole in my seat. After a shaky stop at home ( I did not stop to wish the mouse bon voyage) I finally relaxed enough and had a good laugh. Now it is time to check if the traveller had maybe taken a snack of BMW during his stay on the Bike. Got to admit at least he travelled in style!

wow batman
... It reminds me of another incident: Andre Henrico and the spider: just after we crossed the Namibian border into Botswana on the Vic Falls trip few years ago, Andre was seriously having a high speed fight with a spider on the inside of his screen, then the spider was on the handle bars and then on the tank bag ...? where is it..?
He had to stop just to make sure - standing a meter away from his bike, fiddling with a stick in every open space...
It was so funny. (not sure how I will react!!)
