Hi, I have installed a large BMW topbox on my R1200RT and with a different key than the ignition key. I have to use two keys now.
Does anyone out there knows how to program/set/alter the Topbox lock to be able to use the ignition key. Question

What bike, what top box?

The locks of matching top box and bike can be changed to allow you to use the ignition key for the top-box...net 'n paar plaatjies maak al die verskil. Wink

It is the large Topbox for the R1200RT.

The locks operate using 3-5 plates of different combinations.
By turning out the lock with the key in it, you can get to the locking plates and change the combination using the various plates to match the top box lock to the ignition key... Very Happy
