Pontdrif Report - 27 June 2010

Deon, baie dankie vir 'n wonderlike naweek en 'n fantastiese einde van die "Quest for Gold"
Having breakfast
While our bikes are safely stored in the garage
together with other pieces of art:
Before reaching our goal we had to have a bum-break:
While some minor repairs were made:
Eventually our goal!
Johan van Jaarsveld also enjoyed the ride
The fourth point reached for gold! What a great feeling. It was all worth it - seeing the country, making new friends and experience gained that cannot be put in words:
At the Evangelina Lodge Ina, Tertius, Johan van Jaarsveld and I went for a walk to look for some animals. We saw various buck but they were very afraid of people. Here we are at the dam next to the bar:
We had a great dinner:
The next morning we got ready for the trip back home:
As you can see, the Air Hwaks are on the bike and we will never ride without them again.
We had lunch at a great little shop that has the best ginger beer:
We said our good byes but the friendships made will remain forever

Baie dankie! - Ook vir die advies van die straps. 
Die weer was regtig fantasties. Soontoe was dit 'n bietjie koelerig aan die begin maar met die terugkom was dit regtig wonderlik. Ons het gehoor van die koue in Johannesburg maar toe ons hier kom was dit lekker warm.

That was the good gravel road - you should have seen the road with the roadworks on the way to Morgenzon the day before!
