Pontdrif Report - 27 June 2010

Post by JohanGT on 27th June 2010, 22:09

Having breakfast

While our bikes are safely stored in the garage

together with other pieces of art:

Before reaching our goal we had to have a bum-break:

While some minor repairs were made:

Eventually our goal!

Johan van Jaarsveld also enjoyed the ride

The fourth point reached for gold! What a great feeling. It was all worth it - seeing the country, making new friends and experience gained that cannot be put in words:

At the Evangelina Lodge Ina, Tertius, Johan van Jaarsveld and I went for a walk to look for some animals. We saw various buck but they were very afraid of people. Here we are at the dam next to the bar:

We had a great dinner:

The next morning we got ready for the trip back home:

As you can see, the Air Hwaks are on the bike and we will never ride without them again.

We had lunch at a great little shop that has the best ginger beer:

We said our good byes but the friendships made will remain forever

Well done!!!
Pasop net - daardie strappies verloor!

Mooi foto's van julle 2!

Baie dankie! - Ook vir die advies van die straps. Surprised

Very Happy

Jis!

That was the good gravel road - you should have seen the road with the roadworks on the way to Morgenzon the day before! Cool
