Tom Cruise's Ducati is not a Ducati.....

From our friend Mike Werner at BIKES IN THE FAST LANE:
In the new blockbuster movie, Knight and Day Open link in a new window, starring the always stunning Cameron Diaz and Scientologist evangelist, Tom Cruise, a big deal has been made about Tom Cruise cruising (pun intended) through the movie on a Ducati Hypermotard motorcycle.
The trailer looks great, fast motorcycle doing lots of stunts. But when you look close to the photo below (click on the photos to see a bigger version), you'll notice a few things that are odd about the Ducati.... it's not a Ducati.
So during the stunts, the actual Hypermotard is replaced by an Aprilia SXV550 disguised to look like a Ducati. It would appear that the Ducati is not strong enough to do the stunts that were required, while the Aprilia was.
I'm quite sure that Ducati aren't too pleased with this....Well, that's show business.

And I'm sure that if you look close, you would also see that it's not Tom Cruise doing the stunts either

Ah - but there is no 'evidence' of that. In this pic you can see the last part of the Aprilia name near his leg.
