Sunday morning ride - Welbekend

My son and I explored the farm roads on the other side of the R25 (Bapsfontein) road today. We basically took Garsfontein road (the M30) and turned right at the first major gravel road after the crossing over the R25. It was fairly wet, but no thick mud. We zigzagged our way in the general direction of the Bronkhorsspruitdam. You could hear the maize growing! These pics were taken on the way back, just before the M30 becomes tar again.

That's a popular area for riders who like dust roads.

At least your roads looked much better than the canal roads I was on this weekend. Wonderful collection of mud, water and deep runts. Could not really get above 40 km/h, even having to stop a few times to see which runt was the best to take with exit option.

Anyway it was good fun none the less.

Na die foto het ek 'n klein plaaspaadjie gevat om te kyk of ek by die spoorlyn kan uitkom - lekker diep modderplasse en ons het darem Jaco se broek vol modder gekry tot by die kniee...en nie omgeval nie... :-)

Nee wat, meeste sal maklik wees. Sal so een of twee moeilikes ingooi net vir fun! Maar cache listings sal gemerk wees op moeilikheidsgraad...
