Have looked and will do it Thursday - will then meet the 3 dams lot at the Giyani stopover later in the afternoon. Will give me 600+ km for the day leaving from Coach House.

When we (Me, Bruno and wife) arrived at Alexander Bay border post they (police) would not allow us to take photos. I asked to speak to the commanding officer, which turned out to be a lady. She refused point blank to allow us to take the photos and pointed out a signboard. So being a negotiator I asked her to personally write a letter stating that we were there which includes Rubber stamp, Names, ID, bike make and model, bike reg number, dates and the reason why we could not take the photos. When I was at the same place last year, the CO took the photos for us!
It would seem that the attitude of the SAPS is deteriorating ... !
Perhaps they transfer SAPS members who have been less than efficient at fighting crime to do border duty at Alex Bay...?

I will raise the subject at the next Committee meeting....
