Country Trax - WEEKEND OFF-ROAD COURSE - 4-6 September 2009
After all the positive feedback from guys/girls that done the course last weekend, I planning to do this course at Country Trax on the weekend of 4-6th September anybody want to join me?
I have made a group booking, please let me know if you would like to join.
About the course
This course is aimed at the seasoned rider who is new to off-road riding and wants to master a new set of skills, build their confidence and generally become a safer rider. Therefore, this 3-day course is specifically designed to ease you into off-road riding.
The comprehensive course content not only covers all aspects of off-road riding, but it is extremely helpful in getting rid of bad habits that may have accumulated over years of self-taught riding. After completing this course successfully, you will be able to enjoy the wonders of GS riding anytime, anywhere!
While the course is structured in such a way to accommodate riders of all skill-levels, it requires that anyone who attends is already an experienced rider, and a confident rider on tar. We recommend that you have attended the 'introduction to off-road riding' before attending this course but it is not essential.
Although CountryTrax is BMW Motorrad's official off-road training partner, all makes of off road and dual purpose motorcycles are welcome!
About the venue
The 600-hectare Country Trax site is situated near Amersfoort in Mpumalanga, and Jan du Toit has specially designed and prepared the facilities for off-road training of the highest standard.
It provides realistic and varied riding conditions, from sand tracks to steep uphill ascents and downhill ruts. From water passages to rocky terrain to gravel tracks. In short, if it isnt here, you probably wont need it.
Country Trax Amersfoort offers both the novice and the serious rider the unique experience to enjoy true motorcycle riding and the opportunity to meet new friends while undergoing training, and night time around the camp fires.

I would like to join you. Just have to see how I can juggle some funds and time in September. I would be riding my TTR250.
That hole! Insane....
PS: How far is Amersfoort from Pretoria?
