Stonehaven
22 Bikes and 35 people attended the ride. We left a bit later than expected, at round about 07:40 as we had to inflate on of the guest riders bike's tires that was not up to standard and Shell's airpumps unfortunately did not work. Murphy's law. Was the only setback for the day. We stopped just after Nigel, not very far from last years stop for a leg stretch and for those supporting the bad habbit.
We got to Stonehaven at about 10:15. By then the parking lot was already very full, cars and bikes. With the immediate question - will we still get breakfast. Luckily we pre-booked as the management at Stonehaven set up our own buffet breakfast on the pool terrace. Being a very nice out of the way venue, where the rowdy harley bunch did not bother us.
The management went so far as to obtain our clubs logo from the web and displayed it on the welcoming signage. I know somebody took a photo of this - can you please post it. This was but only a small part of the special treatment we got at the venue. The food and service was excellent, and the breakfast only cost R59 pp - including coffee, tea, juice. Unfortunately not all stopped for breakfast as only 22 of the 35 that confirmed, stayed for breakfast.
It has to be said here - Stonehaven did their best to make this a memorable breakfast run and venue. I would go so far as to say that this venue should become a permanent fixture on the runs-listing, providing a prebooking is again made. As this is essential to the success at this venue. Breakfast is also served till 11:00, making it an easier venue as it allows for more group travelling time. Thank you to Magda and her team who organised this for us.
I will be posting the photos on wednesday as i will be getting most of it from Sue. For the others who took photos - please feel free and post it.

Re: Stonehaven
Really pleased that Stonehaven have improved their service.
Such a beautiful setting to be spoilt by poor management and bad service.
Fantastic that you had a successful ride !
So where are the photos?

Patience, Patience - all good things comes to those who wait. We have to build up the expectancy. Never got to Sue on Wednesday - to much bulshit at the office that needed urgent attention.

Some of us have a day job extending into the evening as well - so time is of the essence. Hence my low posting average nowadays. You'le see them when you see them.
