Bruce Meyers in hospital

Bruce is very sick. A rare type of Leukemia was diagnosed.
He was admitted to hospital on Friday and will get chemo therapy three times a week.
Wendy asked not to call or visit at this stage.
Our prayers go out to both Bruce and Wendy.

For the uninformed:
Bruce was the owner of Bavarian and was also the manager before Roger and Eric took over 3 years ago.
He still owns the building.

This is indeed sad news. Eventhough I do not know Bruce, I sympathise with him and his family. I recently lost an old schoolfriend to the same disease! Our prayers go out to Bruce and his family and friends. May God guide and comfort you in the hard times. We really do hope that Bruce will make a recovery!

Bruce, wish you a speedy recovery.

Zonica had flowers delivered on behalf of the club yesterday to Bruce. He was very glad to see somebody from the club. He is looking very weak physically, but his mind is very strong and he is determined to recover.

He thanked us for the flowers and talked for ten minutes or more.

Hopefully he will keep his spirits up and recover fully.

I heard that Bruce was being discharged from hospital Friday, 3 April.

Bruce, you are very special to us. We bought our first 650GS and 1200GS in your time of Bavarian. Memories of our first trip to Alexander with our 650's with you we will never forget as a family. Ran into wendy the other day - is going quite well at this point - busy with Chemo - and then recovering at home - could not give me more than that.
