Bruce R.I.P
Bruce Meyers passed away this morning and was laid to rest 14h00 today. All the best to Wendy and family. I will always remember the man for his kindness and friendliness. It was always a pleasure to speak to him.

Bruce was always friendly and courteous to all. We will miss his knowledge and input - he was instrumental in getting us hooked on BMW. Our condolonces to Wendy and the family. He will be missed.

Re: Bruce R.I.P
Sad news - Bruce was sinonymous with BMW Motorcycling in SA and Pretoria. Truly a pity that this was not conveyed to all in time that we could attend the service at least.

I agree Leroy.
But in this particular situation it was not practically possible to inform all about the funeral. As Richard explained elsewhere, the body is laid to rest before the next sunset. Richard did attend and represented our club and its members in so doing.
Furthermore, Admin is not in a position to do the 'magic message' thing. She is away on a well-earned break.
Re: Bruce R.I.P
I'm sorry.
I now remember, Richard did not 'explained elsewhere'. He informed the committee members by email.
Now everybody knows he was there

Chairman, Richard Hussey, attended Bruce's funeral on 28 December 2009.
He wrote a memoir about the day Bruce died.
Read Richard Hussey's reminiscence on the website . . .
