Du Toit's Kloof
From Worcester:
Take the N1 westwards towards the Hugenote tunnel. Take the alternate route just before you enter the tunnel (R101). It is a beautiful, winding road that gives you excellent views over different parts of the valley including the entrance to the Hugenote tunnel.
Mossel Bay to Mossel Bay
Take the R328 from Mossel Bay to Oudtshoorn. Here are a few places to have breakfast. Then take the N12 towards George and then the N9 down the Outeniqua Pass.
Here you can spend some time riding up and down practicing your driving and traffic evading skills. Rest at one of the view points at the top of the pass to look over the sea and mountain.
Then return to Mossel Bay via the R404 and the R102 for some nice riding to Groot Brak. From there you return to Mossel Bay for a nice 192km round trip (excluding the repeated trips and and down the Outeniqua Pass!
R62
We travelled from Mossel Bay to Riversdale along the N2.
Riversdale to Barrydale for eats via the R323 and Garcia Pass and then along the legendary R62 and Ronnies Sex Shop where refreshements can be had.
The R62 from Barrydale to Montagu is stunning!

We had a trip there last year - magnificent!
And the... DO NOT FORGET Ronnie's Sex Shop
While we were there, a little boy came running into the bar. His sister followed him but absolutely refused to come inside to come and fetch him. Shame, maybe the name is a little scary for some.

Re: Western Cape
Excellent route Johan. I did most of it myself in 2006, except I did R62 in the opposite direction, starting just outside Swellendam and up Tradouw Pass to Barrydale. Had an exellent time at Ronnie's. He is a very interesting guy with lots of stories to tell and we had to force ourselves to continue with our journey.
