a New bike, a Very new Bike and a flower
After my disastrous attempt at a trip in January resulting in a breakdown on day one and eventually getting a new bike I had the opportunity this weekend to try my new bike out on it's first long trip.
I was able to join Jamie his Family and his very new bike on a trip to the Eastern Transvaal - Thank you Jamie & Stienie really appreciate it.
What a lovely weekend I had - Left Pretoria Friday around 13h00 and took the highway to Hazyview, got there around 18h00 and then I knew allready that this new bike of mine is good.
I started my last trip report with a flower and then my bike broke down, but I am not the superstitious type, so specially for my dear wife .....
Saturday morning was a beautiful morning - perfect for riding. We decided we would be going to God's Window and Blyde River Canyon and then have Breakfast in Graskop.
Early Morning Hazyview
New Bike ready for the ride
Thought Dave and Dorothy was dropping in for a visit
On our way
What a beaut
The scenery was just as good
Breakfast in Graskop
After Breakfast we returned to Hazyview via Sabie.
This morning we came back via Schoemanskloof - what a ride.
Once again thanks to Jamie and family for the weekend.
By the way, if you wish to see more of the "beaut" - have to wait for Jamie's post

Nice report - at least we get some reports from E Tvl area!!
Glad you had a good one - I had a chance to get back on the bike on Friday and did a bit of riding Saturday.

thank you Wahl for coming along.
ps. I would like to say next time we will go slower but..........
maybe someday when I grow up I blame it on the bike and that's my story did I say it's a 1300
