Re: Sunday the 15th........2 days after Friday the 13th
The rider overshot a bent……no more correctly he did not turn at all……just went straight on his line. Medical condition? target fixation? technical malfunction? completely worn rear?.......who knows.
Be it as it may, he left the road and for 60m traveled next to the road……fist just grass and plants then a 2meter deep and 20 meter long ditch, then a tree. The bike stuck in the tree and he went right through the tree only to hit another tree again 10 meter further. He was badly injured. His ride companion was busy praying for him when we approached.
Just before the ambulance arrived we left the scene to warn oncoming traffic about 500 meter away. He was still alive when we left. We watched from a distance for about 30 minutes and they never loaded him into the ambulance after which we left. Can not say for sure if it was fatal but have a strong suspicion it was

Very, very impressive! 262km and still 1/2 tank fuel to spare! And I get the impression you weren't doing an economy run
Enjoy it!!!

oh nooooooo! I might be a lot of things but an economy run type rider is not one of them .........true story cousin ....although I did sweep once
(and you don't buy the S to safe fuel )
no, the fuel used is for 150km.....range left 150km
but it was an easy ride (read slowish) this morning .......true story
