BMF F650 cs scarver mirror Empty BMF F650 cs scarver mirror

Post by paulnel 12th January 2009, 20:43

i own a F650 cs and the mirrors fold close due to the wind when you exceed speeds of 110km/h. i soon realize it is a common problem amongst these bike, as it is a topic on various international CS forums. but the most common solution is pratley putty. personally i don't use glue on a vehicle. don't think its a neat solution. i stripped the mirror mounting, and it consist over a very common bolt. but the movement is not on the treaded part but rather on the design. the mirror arm just push into the bolt head. nothing securing it there, no thread or anything. so that is where the movement are. what can one do here?
