I did over 9,000km with a set of Michelin T63's on the Dakar, a very aggressive knobbly. The guy who bought the bike early this year still rides with them - rear one is probably shot, but the front just goes and goes...

But if you compare the two the AC10 doesn't look like it has a lot of rubber:

Those little knobblies won’t last long on tar affraid Would have to be a lot less aggressive on the front brake scratch

Ja, when you put it like that they actually look very different! Speed (100k/h+) will kill them and the front will float a lot. Gonna be fun! Heeha..

Maybe I should just get the T63's front and back... Where would be the best place to go around Pretoria? Not necessarily the cheapest, would prefer faster over cheaper.

Thanks for the input sofar! What a Face

Just Bike Tyre http://www.autostart.co.za/bp546620.htm#Hennopspark

Biking Accessories http://www.bikingaccessories.co.za/

CIT http://www.citmoto.co.za/

Last time I looked they were cheaper than Heidenau's. With a pillion I would maybe recommend a Heidenau at the back with T63 in front.
