I am trying to float a chapter within the club for riders of older bikes (such as myself) as opposed to older riders of bikes (such as myself).

The Pretoria old motor club allow vehicles 20 years and older. Usually other vintage clubs like the Piston ring has a 25 year age limit.

Currently the biggest grouping are the "Airheads" - the type 247 fully air cooled BMW motors. But there is a growing number of riders of what I call the OOP (Out Of Production) BMW's. These would include the K1, K100, K75, K1100, F650 (as built by Aprilia until 2000) the F650's built by BMW from 2000 onwards (both GS and Dakar) the delightful diminutive C1-125 and C1-200...
