I have to say that my 800 passed the two-up test as well!
We had a great family day on the bikes - no ocean in sight though.. but Mpumalanga, Limpopo and Gauteng did the trick for a great Saturday round trip..
Another Super Saturday Saturdayridesmall

Temperatures in the mid 30's and those '20minute waiting period construction sections' around Marble Hall made the GS's do what they're built for: I really wanted to wait the 20minutes for the oncoming traffic but before I could do anything, the GS's spontaneously took the left hand gravel shoulder and even the construction manager enjoyed it!

When we left the R101 between Warmbaths and Nylstroom (I'm sure that's what these towns were called?) for coffee with family at Thaba Monate we encountered a nice sandy surprise - and that's where my 800 showed his character: Two-up and a slightly hesitant rider didn't bother my 800GS and his sensitive throttle at all! What a bike! bounce bounce

Agree.. it's heaven on earth!
