Removal of Catalytic Converter R1150 Empty Removal of Catalytic Converter R1150

Any club member tried to remove the CAT from the R1150 as described in http://www.wilddog.za.net/forum/index.php?topic=18587.0 (topic#10)

Will it work to give more power and better fuel consumption?

What is the effect on the sound of the bike?

I had mine done by Beemerman who started that thread you refer to on the wil dog forum. I am not mechanically minded but am VERY chuffed with the outcome
