I take it that this then passes as something worth saying.

Re: Every Friday morning breakfast
Suppose it rained out this morning. Got the directions on the posting on page 5 - will henceforth also try and make it there - until what time is breakfast served.

Nope, not rained out at all.
We were about 11, I think. As I recall about 6 bikes. Some a bit wet, some nice and dry.

Won't be able to make it, as I now take the R21 to work because of the mess on the N1. So it is too far out of the way.
But enjoy guys !!

Re: Every Friday morning breakfast
After more than 2 years of Friday morning breakfast………Cuppa Café is no more – from yesterday the restaurant portion is closed.
We are therefore in search for a new venue.
Criteria:
- must have free bike parking
- easy accessible
- be able to open at least 06:30 for coffee
- be able to take breakfast orders from 07:00
- as it is a weekly occurrence, not too expensive
- good food and service
Don’t be shy with suggestions, we are looking for a venue as from this Friday.
Wimpy at Mall at Reds has been short listed (no discussions with them yet).

Re: Every Friday morning breakfast
I think they (CC) priced themselves out of the market! Still it is sad that it had to come to that.
Mall at Reds sounds perhaps like the best idea. It is close to where we were having breakfast and therefore should still suit everyone.
Jamie will you be handling discussions? Let me know if I can help.
Also while I am posting, for those that are interested, Lizell and I are planning on going to Kyalami after breakfast as the world superbikes are testing there. The new BMW's will be there as well as Aprillia, Ducati and Suzuki. Should be a really good day out. Entrance is only R50!

Re: Every Friday morning breakfast
Someone mentioned that wimpy in jean ave is open very early for breakfast. Will phone them and find out. They have outside seating, and looks like a safe place to park bikes. Also, right next to the highways, easy access for everyone.

BP Jean Ave Drivethru
240 Jean Ave, Cnr Rabie Lyttleton Pretoria 0157

We going to give this one a try, or are we aiming for wimpy reds mall?
