Allrighty then……..this is a special call.

We are trying to make this Friday’s breakfast a big one with reference to the participating numbers to coincide with the national Commute On Your Scoot (COYS) day.

I know, I know…… for many of us every day are COYS day but let’s demonstrate some solidarity on this day.

Hope to see as many as possible this Friday 03/10/08 at Cuppa Café corner of Baard & Ruimte, Wierdapark – 06:30 for breakfast



while I have the box……..maybe we can make a special effort to attend the club’s social this Friday (on COYS day ) by bike.........???

Cuppa Café – corner of Ruimte and Baardweg in Wierdapark from 06:30 onwards

From N14 (Krugersdorp/Pietersburg highway) take Pretoria West/Sandton off ramp and turn in the direction of Zwartkops Raceway (same road), 3rd exit (quarter past) at the round about towards Wierdapark (this is or becomes Ruimte), past Heuweloord on the right up the little uphill, just as you are about to enter Wierdapark (before you get the first set of robots in Wierdapark) turn left into Baard. Look for the Think Bike banner at the Cuppa Café premises on your left just before you turn into Baard

Sure a nice idea, but you guys start way to late for me as I already at work by 06:00.

Oh well, I guess you win some and loose some.

PS: I am also a Wild Dog member too, just under another nick.

we have toyed with the idea to start earlier.....I certainly don't mind.

problem is with our current host which is not a 24hr joint and they normally only open at 08:00/08:30 except for Fridays when they open at 06:30 for us. To ask them to open at let's say 05:30 might not go down well......staff transport etc.

We will, however, test the water on Friday

Aww.. with schools open again, Mom's taxi will be on the run.. Enjoy!

Wow! Managed to get it to 06:30 already, that is impressive.

For me it would have to be at most 05:00 so I can get out by 05:40 to get to work by 06:00. I know I am the odd ball here, thus accepted that I would miss most breakfast events.

Let us know what the outcome is for Friday, sure be interested in what transpired.

Yeah I think any earlier may be pushing it a tad. I am at work by 6 every other morning but Fridays is breakie time!
