Re: DREAM COME TRUE
Tony, I think it is time to trade that Triumph in on a RT. Since I bought mine in 2006, I have not looked back. I can understand why Bear feels like a king. It is really a great tourer and city commuter

Re: DREAM COME TRUE
I am in discussions with Piet from Speed bike in Klerksdorp. As i have a Kawasaki ZX6 to sell as well I am hoping that he can trade both for the price of a full house RT. He is looking for a decent cover price on my Sprint. As soon as that happens then a deal will be done. I must also talk to Bavaria in PTA and see what they could do.

not much you can do with a 49cc......
but yes, we gutted the exhaust and removed the baffles
not to have the fastest bike......just to be faster than the neighbour.....and to annoy the "tannie" living accross the street.

Re: DREAM COME TRUE
Hi Bear
It didn't take you long to find a substitute for your lost love!!Congratulations on your new toy. May she give you many happy 'rides' and smiles and I am sure it might not be too long before that pillion seat is occupied.

She looks great Bear. Many happy miles. What type of GPS mount did you use for your Zumo I have the ram-type mount on mine but it sits a bit high Yours looks much better based on the picture

Re: DREAM COME TRUE
Very pretty indeed. Love that color. I was wondering how the Zumo is mounted. On the Sprint I have used the standard bracket that bolts to the clutch lever retaining bracket but the RT has so many gadgets on the handlebars that that is not possible. I saw the bracket on Andre's bike on the photos taken after Milly run. Still not able to sell the Sprint but I continue to persevere.

Congatulations, Many happy miles. Saw the way that Andre handled his machine this weekend and if that is anything to go by...you sure have a dream machine. Take care of her and she will take care of you.
