Re: Club Nights, where, what, etc....
Jane and I really enjoyed attending the club meeting (08May2009). We met a lot of new people and enjoyed the company, food, drinks as well as all the feedback on the past club rides.
I am back at home in Gordons Bay again.Had a good ride. Left Harties at 16:00 on Sunday and arrived at home at 06:05 on Monday morning.
Also a great thanks for the lovely Extreme Gold medals the wife and I received.
If any of the club members ever visit my area please let me know. We could have a nice trip together.

Re: Club Nights, where, what, etc....
In all fairness Iceman I did say:
........but I have not heard anything from you. My wife was not up to riding Friday evening so instead of both travelling by car, I took the bike just in case I get a last minute contact from you. ie. we were there with 2 vehicles.
After about the 5th person I asked “are you Iceman” I stopped the search thinking you decided not to go.
be it as it may, my invite still stands for the next social
open invite to a fellow Centurion……….if you interested, send me a pm and I’ll forward my cell no. to you. We can then ride together to the next club social

Re: Club Nights, where, what, etc....
Iceman it seems that you are what we a call a member of the SS (Super Sluipers)
We all were on the lookout for you but it seems that your ice melted before we could recognise you....
Please go to the secretary (if you do not know her please just ask for her!!! Unfortunately our members are just human!!!) next time in the bar and tell her to give you a sticker with your name on it. Or sit in at the presentation and ask any commitee member to point Bruno out to you (The commitee members are those people who raise their hands when introduced by the chairman during the presentation at the social - please try to to remember their faces if you can..) We are not very good at sniffing out new people at the club as we get about 25+ new visitors every social. It will also help if you do a Sunday ride with the club......
Hope to see you at the next social with a big name sticker

Hey Iceman...(or Pieter...?)
I looked for you during our Last Club Meeting!
Were you there?
GSlady asked at least to 5 people if they were You!
I don't like to stay in debt, so please, introduce yourself. On Friday I had to drink my and yours captains and almost got drunk!
Now is your turn, you have to look for me next meeting (jun).
Regards
Bruno

Previous mail refers - that is why i post under my name - everybody's choice to either do so or choose a nom de geurre (appolgies if not spelt correct) - but can those using it not add their real names to their profile information to be displayed with their avatar.

Can vouch for this - BON asked me about 5 times if I am Pieter! So please Pieter, ask someone, like those who spoke, who is the Brazilian fighter pilot - and introduce yourself as ex-newbie to the rest in the process...
