Re: 100 That is
Now is there a lesson in this one If you want to end up being an old rider, you better not be too bold. I would say that if you want to live to be a happy old rider, be a sensible and responsible rider (which not necessarily exclude being bold sometimes) Maybe it is different for PilotsRichard H wrote: It is much more exciting to ride a slow bike really fast than to ride a really fast bike slowly...
(Lucien Banitz about his R60/5)
To paraphrase another saying:
There are oldpilotsriders and boldpilotsriders,
but there are NO old, boldpilotsriders...!

Re: 100 That is
Basic principle here is - know your personal limitations and know your bikes limitations and never exceed that - rather live to ride another day. You should in fact never exceed 90% of both aspects - as riding to close to 100% is not worth your life.

Re: 100 That is
What if your guardian angel flies faster than your own or your bike's capability Maybe one should offer the guardian angel a lift.Rejuvenated wrote:Never ride faster than your guardian angel can fly.
On a more serious note though, I agree with LeRoy, stay within your capabilities, and that is probably the one advantage of the "older" riders, they are not so easily tempted by peer pressure

Re: 100 That is
Question - site says 101 users registered, yet in the memberlist there is only 99 as of this time.
Why the difference in numbers?

Re: 100 That is
It’s only the default sort by criteria “Last visit” that is reflecting 99.
Others like "Joined date" and "User name", show 101.
My guess would be it has something to do with a hidden status when online……a warning in there……..big sister might be watching
Lucien Banitz (who ever he is) should sometime try to ride a fast bike really fast...............can only imagine that must be better than riding it slowly
