Thank-you Johan for a great ride this morning.
Left home at 06h00 to get to Pretoria on time 07h00
Temp on the way was 2.5C !!
Met at new venue - BP garage near Makro - wonderful Hot Chocolate !
Johan giving the briefing - many new faces on the ride - welcome to all !

Abe, our sweep for the ride, on his new GS ! Wonderful colour scheme!

13 Bikes started off at the BP garage, 19 people. At Witbank one bike had to turn back.
Abe Coetzee did a stunning job as sweep and nobody got lost.
The temperature turned at 2.5 degrees and everybody felt great when the temperature started rising.

Cant recall when is the last time i saw the dam nearly full - let alone overflowing.

Remember - the wiplash is very pronounced at the back - some very nice highspeed catching up to do.

Hi all, nice to see Loskop dam overflowing, I am now staying in OZ (Perth)and therefore havent been around there for a number of years now. It is nice to read about and see photographs of some of the roads I have travelled on in the past (unfortunately not always on a bike). Enjoy and ride safe.
